The first of our Winter Lecture series will be on Saturday 23 February. We will be welcoming Joseph Whelan, Head Gardener at Nymans. He will explore some of the challenges and opportunities that he has encountered managing the historic gardens at Nymans. After acquiring Nymans in 1870, Ludwig Messel, along with his head gardener, James Comber, created an Arts and Crafts inspired garden that continued to be developed throughout the early 20th century. Do join us to learn more about these beautiful gardens now managed by the National Trust.
